The Mitzpeh is an independent student newspaper for the Jewish community at the University of Maryland - College Park. The Mitzpeh is published monthly by Maryland Media, Inc., a non-profit organization that is independent from the University of Maryland and the Merrill College of Journalism, and has a circulation of 4,000.Columns printed here do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the Mitzpeh. Signed columns and letters represent their authors' opinions. Mitzpeh welcomes letters to the editor. Submissions should include the author's name, year of study and major.
